During CETA’s provisional implementation in 2017, imports into Canada from France grew by 4% from the previous year and Canadian investment in France increased by 23%. CETA represents the future of stronger economic partnership based on common values and goals.
On May 12, I will be hosting a town hall on progressive trade at the Ottawa Public Library. The event, moderated by Andrew Cardozo (founding president of the Pearson-Shoyama Institute), will allow us to have conversations about Canada’s current and future plans on progressive trade.
